On June 22th–25th, Grace Bible Church gathered for our annual Church Camp Retreat at Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino. Throughout the retreat we worked through a multi-part lecture series on eschatology, spending time together discussing the hope we have in God’s sovereign plan and the glorious future He has promised His people.

The days were hot but beautiful, providing plenty of opportunities for fellowship. Many enjoyed swimming in the lake while the younger children built sandcastles along the shore. The men organized games of football, and there was ample free time for conversation, rest, and simply enjoying one another’s company. One evening we gathered for campfire worship, lifting our voices together in songs of praise, and each night ended around the bonfire with s’mores and fellowship.

Above all, we are grateful to our Lord for His kindness throughout the week. He blessed us with rich fellowship, faithful teaching from His Word, and safety during our time away—including keeping the local bears at a respectful distance! We returned home encouraged, refreshed, and thankful for another opportunity to grow together as the body of Christ.
